How do you encase items in resin?
Pour mixed resin slowly into the mold over your objects until all items are encased by the resin. Pour from the center to avoid drips hardening on the side of your mold. You will see bubbles forming and rising as the chemical reaction of hardening occurs, but these bubbles won’t be in your final casting.
How do I put items in epoxy?
Pour a layer of Table Top epoxy about 1/8” to 1/4” thick that will protect your embedded items from sanding and leveling equipment you will use on the underside of the table. Once that layer is tacky or hard to the touch, you can start adding the items you want to embed on top of that epoxy layer before moving forward.
